The US Department of Homeland Security in conjunction with the USCIS will be holding a conference call today at 10:30 est for adoptive parents and prospective adoptive parents of children from Haiti. The call will cover topics ranging from the process for visa applications to the steps families will need to take on down the road. Members of DOS, DHS, DHHS and USCIS will be on hand to answer questions from parents and prospective parents.If you are a prospective or adoptive parent of a child from Haiti and have not received an invitation to the conference call, please feel free to contact PEAR. To help ensure that families have the best opportunity to fully participate and raise questions, we are not publishing the call number and passcode at this time, but will make it available to families upon request.
